Incógnito was born out of the innovative and restless spirit of Carrie and HansJorgensen. At Cortes de Cima, plot 9C is the first vineyard of the Syrah varietyplanted in Alentejo. When in 1991 Hans Jorgensen planted the strains withgrafts coming directly from the Rhône, in an area of limestone on top of a hill,he did not imagine that the vineyard would originate a wine that would markthe region and the wines of the Alentejo
