The nose, very fresh and intense where the notes of wild fruits and black cherries predominate in balance with seductive “nuances of Liquorice”, the aroma being complexed by the notes of wood. In the mouth it is concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish showing the strength of Douro Superior wines.
GASTRONOMY

Our winery is equipped with the latesttechnology and enables complete control oftemperature, essential for our region of extremeclimates. After grapes arrive at thewinery, we eliminate clusters which are notin perfect condition. The grapes are thenvinified with total de-stemming, soft crushingand thermal shock followed by a periodof cold pre-fermentative maceration in thewine press for about 12 to 24 hours. Themust is transferred to broad and low fermentationtanks, where the wines fermentfor about 10 days at temperatures between24 and 26º C. Malolactic fermentation occurrednaturally and is finished in late December.Part of the fermentation processwas made in oak barrels.
