The grapes were harvested manually and transported to the winery (located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Douro) in 20kg boxes. Fermentation took place in a cement tank with indigenous yeasts. This was followed by a period of 18 months in a cement tank and 600 liter barrels in the warehouse in Vila Nova de Gaia, close to the sea, with excellent conditions of temperature and humidity.
