It presents floral and fresh aromas of rose bush and secondary notes of cloves and some wood smoke, discreet and well integrated, in harmony with the whole set. Fully filling the palate with rich fruit (blackberry, blueberry and black plum).
Touriga Franca, from the vineyard plots at the top of Vale da Teja, and Touriga Nacional, originating from the Quinta Nova vineyards, located at an altitude of about 450 meters, are the pillars of the Quinta do Vesuvio DOC Douro plot every year . The Quinta Nova vineyard was acquired by DŞ Antónia Adelaide Ferreira in the mid-19th century, who could not have imagined that these high-altitude vines would prove so valuable for the property's reds at the beginning of the 21st century.
