Deep, intense and alive red color. Intense and exuberant nose, it is quite fruity, presents wild scents like cassis and mint and some blackberry. Slightly well-integrated wooden notes. In the mouth it is very tasty, fruity and elegant. It is balanced, with smooth tannins of great level and an excellent acidity.
This is a wine produced only in years of exceptional harvests, coming from vineyards over 60 years old, selected for their location, soil and vineyard. During the stage, in new barrels, the best, the most balanced, are selected to make a sublime and maturation batch. The Três Bagos Grande Escolha wine intends to be what is best done in the Douro.
