Good deep ruby ??color. Intense and complex aroma, highlighting ripe black fruits, balsamic notes, heather, resin, sous-bois, spices such as pepper, stony and very well integrated good quality wood. In the mouth, the wine appears dense and voluminous, with excellent quality tannins and refreshing acidity, notes of black fruits, spices and truffles, culminating in a finish of great elegance and persistence.
Its elegant and complex profile pairs ideally with red meat, game and cheese.
Legado represents a tribute from Fernando Guedes and his team to the best that the Douro has to offer, a simple tribute to Sogrape's roots. With each harvest, it is up to nature to deliver the fruit of the eight hectares of century-old vineyards at Quinta do Caźdo, in Ervedosa do Douro.
