Grenat red color with good intensity. (Impressive how the reds are still so alive after more than 10 years). Very fine aroma and with good intensity still revealing a lot of force. Tobacco, cedar, chocolate, licorice, aniseed aromas are associated with aromas of red fruits, such as cherries and sour cherries in liqueur. Slight toasted notes contribute even more to enrich its olfactory spectrum. all in one record of extreme freshness and elegance. On the palate we find the same life in the mouth. silky tannins and velvety over time that contribute to its elegance and trial length. Here, more mature aromas stand out, such as raisins and dried black plums. an excellent presence in the mouth with an almost endless finish. This wine gives already a great pleasure but reserve a few bottles to surprise even more in the coming years.
Enjoy at a temperature between 16ºC and 17ºC. great for accompany all kinds of meat dishes, especially meats red, but also regional Portuguese cuisine and even game. It has storage potential of at least ten years.
As it is a wine from the 2007 harvest, we recommend that your bottle be placed vertically for 24 hours before to be opened. We recommend that the consumption temperature is between 16/17 ºC and that it be decanted immediately before being served. Decanting, which must be carried out carefully, serves not only to eliminate the slight deposit, natural of age and of a lightly filtered wine, as to allow it to “breathe” and allow us to explore all its features. Ideally, it should be drunk in Bordeaux-shaped glasses.
