Its color is Granada deep to well evidence the presence of Alicante Bouschet. At the aromatic level, it presents, good concentration of alive aroma with much black fruit next to the spiced and smoked notes. In the mouth it is very elegant, with the barrel well integrated, emphasizing the balance of the set with long and persistent finish.
TORRE DO FRADE
Torre do Frade is a family farm located in the municipality of Monforte in the Alto Alentejo, southeast of Portugal, very close to the border with the Spanish Extremadura. The history of the homestead dates back to the distant year of 1384 when the original owner donated the lands to the Hermits of the Order of Sto. Augustine, here the friars founded a convent that lasted until 1834, when the religious orders were expelled from Portugal by Joaquim António de Aguiar, Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs and Justice at the time. With the expulsion of the friars, the lands were sold at a public auction and were bought by the family in 1839. Since that day their mission has been oriented to the production of food goods of excellence with a quality index above the common.
