Deep violet color. Clean, expressive and complex nose. Notes of chocolate, licorice and pine needles, a product of 12 months' aging in French oak barrels, present themselves, elevating all other primary aromas of ripe wild fruits, such as blackcurrant and blackberry, floral notes of violet, typical of the Touriga Nacional variety, and fresh herbaceous nuances of thyme and camphor. This whole bouquet, harmonious and growing in the glass throughout the tasting. In the mouth we find a duality between elegance of body and intensity of flavor. The tannin is fine and velvety and the alcohol is perfectly integrated. The freshness, conferred by a balanced acidity, forces us to salivate and “pushes” us towards a new taste. Benefits from ventilation. Wild fruit and chocolate notes accompany the tasting until its long and elegant finish. Wine ready to be enjoyed, but which will benefit from 2 to 3 years of aging.
