Unique and incomparable; AROMA - Its complex structure comprises 5 aromatic dimensions: sweetness due to star anise, cinnamon, licorice root; bitter thanks to chiretta root; fruity and citrus with the orange; notes of earth and spices with ginger and galangal root; and finally the vegetable notes thanks to the presence of cardamom and nutmeg. BODY - Each drop of Jägermeister is produced with passion in the wineries of Wolfenbüttel. The secret blend of 56 ingredients involve the palate in an incomparable way. TEXTURE - A perfectly balanced "spirit" that provides a velvety and round palate experience.
Ingredients: 40 ml of Jägermeister; Tonic water; Ice; Rasp of citrus fruits. Method of preparation: Add the Jägermeister together with ice in a long glass and complete as the tonic water. Finish by adding citrus zest.

It was Wilhelm Mast's son, Curt, who took the family vinegar business in a very different direction. A few years passed before he perfected Jägermeister's recipe of 56 botanical ingredients but we think it was well worth the wait. To this day, the eyes of our founder still watch over his creation;
Steeped in history, surrounded by nature and with Berlin on its doorstep; the Lower Saxon town of Wolfenbüttel - like the drink it gave rise to - is a blend of all the best ingredients. With a prestigious history as a hub of arts and science, we like to think one of its greatest masterpieces was inspiring the creation of Jägermeister.
Our striking logo draws from the tale of Saint Hubertus. Once a wild huntsman, Hubertus had a vision of a mighty stag carrying a glowing cross between its antlers. The vision transformed him and afterwards he championed a greater respect for nature, eventually becoming known as the patron saint of hunters. Curt Mast thought this powerful story was a perfect match to his potent elixir and adopted the emblem of the stag in honor of the true 'Hunting Master'.

The Jägermeister drink was born in 1934 in Wolfenbüttel,
Germany, by the hand of Curt Mast. While times may
have changed, the recipe does not.
The complete list of ingredients is a well-kept secret,
but in proving it is guaranteed that you can identify a
little of the four corners of the world in a single gulp.
Among the known ingredients stand out the roots of
licorice, star-of-anise, cloves, roots of rhubarb, saffron,
chamomile flowers, ginger roots, lavender flowers,
cinnamon, angostura peels, among others.
Each drop of Jägermeister comes from one of the 445
oak present in the winery under the factory. In the darkness of
their depths, the blends are allowed to age until
to the maximum period of one year.
