Azienda Agricola La Tordera
Our farm was born in the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the production area of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, between Venice and the Dolomites.
Always aware of innovations, we never forget the connection with our land and its traditions; it is out of respect for this little paradise and the wonderful fruits it gives us, that we are looking for a viticulture ever greener and in harmony with the environment, with a constant thought of past and future generations.
We owe our name to a sweet hill, the territory of Cartizze. This hill once housed a common reef called Tordera. In autumn, in fact, the thrushes descend from the nearby mountains in search of food among the rows of vineyards, and from that tradition the hill took its name from Tordera. Although the roccolo does not exist anymore, the name remained alive in the collective memory. Our family originated here, La Tordera was born here.
