Quinta da Fonte Souto is a new wine project by the Symington family in the fascinating sub-region of Portalegre in Alto Alentejo. There would always have to be something very special to make us take our first steps outside the Douro and, in this incredible property situated at relatively high altitudes, within the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park (east of the Alentejo plain), we believe we have found all the conditions we were looking for. It is a long-term project in which we intend to put the unique terroir of this sub-region on the map, for wine lovers in Portugal and in other parts of the world.
