A recipe of 11 botanicals is put into the stills in one still it’s added to the spirit / water mix and in the other still it’s put in a basket above between the rectifying column and the condenser and the liquids gently heated. The ‘middle cut’ distillate from the stills is collected and blended together . Water is then added to bring the distillate down to bottling strength before the all important cucumber and rose petal essences are added.
