In 1909, it became simply ‘Black Label'. Flavour and heritage make Johnnie Walker Black Label a classic of the whisky world, the benchmark by which all other whiskies are measured. Each bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label draws whisky from the finest distilleries across Scotland, aged in whisky casks for at least 12 years. The whiskies are matured in a slightly different way, due to the intricacies of wood, climate and location. The master blender's skill lies in blending these together to create a whisky with an extraordinary range of flavour.
