Color: golden caramel. Nose: dried fruit, vanilla with soft wood and baked apples; balanced with notes of honey and chocolate. Palate: Sweet and sultanas raisins, which turns into vanilla, woody spices and citrus. Finishing: ginger that gives way to citrus and caramelized notes, with a lasting finish and a creamy aftertaste.
The Macallan Double Cask 15 years old is a balanced whiskey that harmoniously combines 2 types of oak in an exceptional single malt. American oak barrels ex-sherry (xerez) contribute with vanilla notes while European oak adds spicy notes, giving the whiskey a sweet and warm character.
