Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2 has expanded. When it touches the tongue, its edges rise up the palate, filling a more complete tactile space. The acidity intertwines with bitter and umami nuances, as if braided, thus becoming more consistent. It unfolds like the wave of Kanagawa, sparkling, radiant, smooth. Crystallised lemon, bergamot, white peach, cocoa, roasted coffee. Its freshness is vibrant and silky, with a sunny, slightly iodised presence.
This cuvée can be enjoyed with ham, oysters, caviar, anchovies and tuna belly.
With Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008-Plénitude 2, Dom Pérignon reconnects with the year 2008. At each stage of its evolution, this vintage redefines the champagne classic, giving it more substance, persistence and complexity. The ‘champagne miracle’ had happened, and this vintage was born to become a classic. It also has even greater resonance in this movement, as its launch in 2018 coincided with the transition between the two Cellar Masters, Richard Geoffroy and Vincent Chaperon. This was the culmination of their collaboration, the realisation of a shared vision.
