The colour is a deep, intense garnet. On the nose: it reveals red and black fruits with subtle spicy notes. On the palate: it is smooth and exquisitely delicate. It develops into a finish with deep, velvety tannins that is deliciously flavourful.
Château Latour’s Grand Vin is made exclusively from ‘vieilles vignes’ – vines averaging 60 years of age – located in the Enclos. Gravettes, Sarmentier, Pièce de Château… these are the names of some of the finest vineyards that express the character of the terroir and shape the wine’s identity with every vintage.
