The color is a deep red with purple highlights. The aroma is initially fruity, with notes of dark fruits such as cherry, followed by chocolate and toasty hints, culminating in nuances of vanilla. On the palate, the attack reveals a lovely freshness and great length. Red fruits dominate.
Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild is one of the best value second wines on the market. It allows wine lovers to experience the sensual winemaking style of the famous Premier Cru Classé, Château Mouton Rothschild, without the years of ageing normally required for a Grand Vin.
