The nose is lively and remarkably precise, combining aromas of bergamot and citrus (grapefruit) with fruity notes (pear, white-fleshed fruits). As you breathe it in, the bouquet reveals its freshness and minerality. On the palate, the attack is lively and refreshing. Full-bodied and creamy, the palate captivates with its salinity, balance and length.

Produced under the Bordeaux Blanc Sec appellation, Le Petit Cheval is the result of an adventure and a challenge undertaken by Château Cheval Blanc over 10 years ago: to produce a truly exceptional white wine in a terroir historically renowned for its red wines. Although the initial idea was to produce a wine intended exclusively for family and friends, the ambition to create a truly exceptional wine soon became clear. Embodying the very essence of Cheval Blanc, Le Petit Cheval Blanc benefits from a vineyard entirely dedicated to it. This 6.6-hectare vineyard was part of the Tour du Pin estate. Benefiting from its own winemaking and ageing facilities, Le Petit Cheval Blanc is therefore a blend of 13 different plots, combining vines planted in sandy and clay soils.
