This carpano distinguishes itself from all other vermouths by its unique bouquet and its unmistakable vanilla notes. Its color is light brown with amber tones; its nose is a bouquet of vanilla and spices, citrus and with notes of dried fruit, almonds, raisins and cloves; its palate is round and rich in vanilla.
This vermouth blends well with bitter orange, dates, cocoa and saffron flavors.
Antonio Beneddetto Carpano invented vermouth in 1786, combining plants and spices with muscatel wine and what is now Carpano Antica Formula. This vermouth remains as the original thanks to the passion and high qualification of the Fratelli Branca distillery that produces it.
