On the nose it presents notes of spicy, smoke, light citric fruits and hazelnut. On the palate, this mezcal is spicy and fruity. You can feel the taste of smoked almond, a little light peach juice and mixed spice notes.
Del Maguey Vida San Luis Del Rio Mezcal is the perfect place to try mezcal. This Mexican liquor is a little harder to find than tequila and other options, but Del Maguey has made his Vida Mezcal easy to obtain. It tastes delicious in cocktails. Both Mezcal and Tequila are Mexican liquors distilled from the Agave plant. Mezcal and Tequila come from different regions of Mexico and often from different varieties of agave. Tequila must come from the blue agave plant, while Mezcal can come from any agave plant. Most Mezcal comes from the Agave Espadin, including the Del Maguey Vida variety.
