Avión is a tequila for true connoisseurs who love the rich flavor of roasted agave from the highlands, a taste you never forget.Originated in the picturesque town of Jesus Maria, in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, a place with a long and rich heritage in the production of tequila, the super premium tequila Avión is produced from agave grown at 7,000 feet above sea level, on a nutrient rich soil, where the wide temperature variations give this plant fresh and naturally sweet features.The agave is harvested by hand every 7-10 years, when it has reached the perfect ripeness. After harvest, it is roasted slowly in brick ovens for three days, the low temperatures perfectly caramelizing the agave, intensifying the natural sweetness of the plant. After distillation, the tequila "juice" goes through a unique ultra-slow filtration system that takes 10 times longer than other tequilas, resulting in an exceptionally smooth tequila product.Each bottle of Avión tequila is bottled by hand and individually identified with the lot number and a unique code for each bottle, the final details of the laborious process of creating the "Worlds Best Tasting Tequila".
