Famous for its Port Wine since 1751, Ferreira is also dedicated to the selection and aging of high quality wine spirits. It is from the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the spirits are carefully chosen and aged in 270-liter oak casks. In order to obtain maximum quality, proofs and the introduction of various batches of different ages and characteristics shall be periodically carried out. After the final batch has been chosen, the brandy is placed in 640 liter hulls, where it ages. Dark golden color and greenish nuances, this old brandy has a very strong aroma of good quality wood. In the mouth it is soft, velvety on the palate and with a very elegant and persistent finish.
