The voluptuous palate — simultaneously intense and delicate — unravels layers of refined, rich citrus fruit and soft caramel, with a beam of freshness providing exquisite balance. Pleasant traces of tobacco leaf and mocha make for a lingering finale.

Seven decades in winey oak casks have given this port an incredible breadth and complexity. It's perfect to drink after a meal, alone and slowly, like a dessert. Given the incredible freshness and concentration of the wine, it will also go perfectly with cream or dried fruit desserts.
