Still relatively young, even after 12 years in oak casks, this wine provides seductive aromas of caramel, sweets, pound cake, marmalade and a subtle touch of maple syrup. Voluptuous palate, with a rounded texture — rich and generous with fruit still present, although also with the complexity that comes from aging in casks, which is presented through notes of walnuts, nutmeg, cigar box and tea. Juicy and long finish.

It's a fabulous accompaniment to creamy or nutty desserts, such as crème brûlée or almond tart. It's also delicious enjoyed on its own after a meal, a dessert in its own right. It is recommended to serve the wine chilled. Once opened, enjoy within 6 to 8 weeks.
