Bright amber-yellow colour with a hint of auburn. It has a complex and enveloping bouquet of dried fruit, with hints of figs, walnuts and toasted almonds, complemented by a delicate hint of candied orange peel and a touch of spice. On the palate it is fine and harmonious, revealing character, firmness with softness and finesse. An extremely rich and long finish.

It pairs wonderfully with rich starters such as foie gras, savoury vol-ao-vents, scallops au gratin or mushroom risotto. Despite its age, it shows remarkable freshness, making it the ideal choice for savouring a caramelised crème brulée, a crunchy custard crepe or a spiced apple crumble. Serve at between 8 and 10ºC.
