A brick red color with medium depth and light orange rim. The aroma, slightly smoky / vanilla, from very old wine barrels, which linger on with aromas of marmalade, raisins and dried apricots. Body medium on the palate, with a smooth and prolonged aftertaste.
Colheita are single year Tawny Ports, aged in cask for a minimum period of seven years before being bottled. Colheita is delicious at the end of a meal, accompanying desserts and nuts or as an aperitif with accompany, for example, "foie gras".
