With a bright, deep red rim, the wine displays aromas of cherries and black plums, along with a fine aroma of mint and liquorice. On the palate, well-integrated tannins dominate, with beautifully ripened fruit and a long finish. A vibrant wine that is beginning to show some ageing in the bottle. It will certainly be too good to drink by then, but it still has the potential to age for several decades.
