A very special old port of great aromatic intensity with notes of vanilla, spices and dried fruit. On tasting, it is powerful and velvety with the well-matched brandy, filling the palate with intense flavours. It is crowned by a very long finish with a lively acidity that provides elegance and flavors of candied orange peel. A true tribute to Port Wine.

Store bottles in a cool, dark place (16°C). Serve at 16ºC. Enjoy this magnificent 40 Years Old Port as a digestif or as a companion to cigars.

Port Wine is, by definition, a fortified and full-bodied wine, produced in the Douro Region - the oldest Demarcated Wine Region in the world. Produced from grape varieties traditionally used in the region, its winemaking process is characterized by the addition of wine brandy to the must in full fermentation. Royal Oporto 40 Years Old comes from a batch of different Port Wines, rigorously selected and aged in the best oak casks, which has a character and an average age corresponding to the designation 40 years. An Old Port Wine, very fine, liqueur and extremely complex that Real Companhia Velha defines as a Port “aged to perfection” and with a harmony that enchants the senses, when served at 18ºC.
