Hotel Winery concept. He then created his own wine cellar at Palácio do Buçaco, producing wines that would come to be known as the glorious "Vinhos do Buçaco". At the beginning of the 20th century, the wine was born that would become an icon, albeit intentionally kept out of the spotlight. Its creator, Alexandre de Almeida, adopted the concept of luxury hotels with their own wine. Looking back, from the first harvests, Buçaco wines were served to kings, queens and heads of state, as evidenced by the letter, proudly kept in the Buçaco Palace Hotel. These wines were cult objects, limited to very restricted circles. Its fantastic and noble labels carry the symbol of its nobility to this day.
