Deep ruby ??color. Very intense and complex aroma, highlighting the shrubby notes, such as olive leaf, olive paste, black fruit, spices, pepper, balsamic, cedar and tobacco box. Stony, with a discreet and very well integrated wood. In the mouth it has a powerful attack, vibrant acidity, lively tannins, notes of spices, red fruits, with a very long and elegant finish.
Ideal to accompany cheeses, red meat and game dishes.
(PRODUCT LIMITED TO 1 BOTTLE PER CLIENT) Barca-Velha is the epitome, the first, unquestionable symbol of the highest quality of the wines of the Douro. Classic, intense, complex, elegant and rich, adjectives are few to describe the one who is, since its creation in 1952, the most celebrated Portuguese wine. Barca-Velha is the base on which formed the reputation of Casa Ferreirinha, the brand with the longest tradition of quality in the Douro and one of main world references.
