A deep coloured and an intense flavoured wine. The flowery, chocolate and berry jams notes combine perfectly with the oak ageing which the wine has been submitted. This is a wine that will get more interesting as time goes by, but yet, its structure and rounded tannins make it ready to be had now.
Made from our best selection of Touriga Nacional grapes. Previously destemmed the grapes went through a low temperature prefermentative maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation is done in stainless steel vats with temperature control between 26º - 28ºC, for 14 days. Skin contact maceration and cap (submerged) for 28 days. Four to six months ageing in oak barrels.
