Ruby color with some violet touches, medium concentration. On the nose, lots of red forest fruit, some woods, truffle and leather. Textured, fresh, red fruit attack. Very fine, long and structured finish

A red with good acidity, good for meat with some fat and pot dishes.

It was here at the foot of the Serra d’Ossa that the oldest wine amphora in the interior of the country was found. A Phoenician amphora, from the 17th century. VIII BC with grain residue, proof that there was wine here 900 years before the arrival of the Romans. Later in the century. In the 11th century AD, the Paulistas, Hermits of the Order of São Paulo, settled in this “Ground” to plant their vineyards, taking advantage of two streams that bring rainwater from the mountains, keeping the ground cool in the torrid Alentejo heat. "A Ânfora d'Os Paulistas" recovers this past, bringing back almost extinct grape varieties that still exist in our Vinha do Chão dos Eremitas (Tinta Carvalha, Castelão, Alfrocheiro Preto, Moreto and Trincadeira), vinifying them with the old principles winemaking practices in small Alentejo amphorae, similar to ancient Phoenician amphorae.
