The color is concentrated. On the nose it is a serious wine, combining floral notes, red fruits, spices and dried fruits, revealing the complexity of the old vines that give rise to it. In the mouth it is structured, fresh and with excellent acidity. Still revealing its youth through the nerve of the tannins.
Old dryland vineyards around 40 to 50 years old emerge from the limestone and shale soils, revealing the essence of Portalegre. The Copa Alegre Tinto is made through minimalist winemaking! Cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation up to 28ºC.
