Deep red in color with some brownish hints, an aroma of dark chocolate, guava and cedar. On the palate it tastes like dark chocolate, guava and black plum, very balanced. It has a very long finish.
The youngest representative of the sixth generation of the family that since its foundation has presided over José Maria da Fonseca’s destinations, Domingos Soares Franco is, in addition to being vice-president, the winemaker of this house, and therefore an unavoidable reference in the winemaking panorama of the region and the country. Although he signs all José Maria da Fonseca wines, there are some that he reserves for himself as special. He called them Domingos Soares Franco - Private Collection.
