Good deep ruby color. Very intense and complex aroma, with bushy notes, olive paste, floral, black fruits, stony, and very well integrated wood. In the mouth it has excellent volume, firm tannins, crisp acidity, bushy notes, olive paste and black fruit, with a long and elegant finish.
Its elegant and complex profile pairs ideally with red meat, game and cheese.
Legado represents a tribute from Fernando Guedes and his team to the best that the Douro has to offer, a simple tribute to Sogrape's roots. With each harvest, it is up to nature to deliver the fruit of the eight hectares of century-old vineyards at Quinta do Caêdo, in Ervedosa do Douro.
