Intense ruby color. Deliciously scented and clean. Intense floral aromas, so identifying with Touriga Nacional, complemented by ripe red fruit and nuances of fennel. Aging for 12 months in high-quality French oak barrels gave it notes of chocolate, light spice and smoke. On the palate it is very balanced, with a noticeable acidity, giving freshness to an intense, full-bodied wine with tannin present, but polished. In the retro nasal aromas, warm spices such as cinnamon and cloves stand out, giving another dimension to the wine. Finishes firm, fresh and long, asking for a new taste.

With a very aromatic but serious character, Família Margaça Touriga Nacional is the perfect companion for intense meat or barbecue dishes. Its high freshness and firm tannin make it perfect for typically Alentejo dishes where Iberian pork and bread crumbs, garlic and olive oil reign supreme. Beef cuts, intense and rich in fat, such as Picanha or Alcatra also pair very well with this wine. Pepper or mustard-based sauces are highly recommended.
