Fragrance of cherries, entwined with notes of pinewood and wet land. In the mouth, it is assertive and simultaneously silky with notes of forest fruits punctuated with touches of clove and pepper. A red with a good gastronomic profile.
Located on the slopes of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, near Portalegre, the Fonte Souto vineyards - planted between 490 and 550 meters high - benefit from conditions of greater freshness and humidity than the areas of the hot Alentejo plain. The wines express the freshness and the balance that they derive from the high quotas, as well as the structure and complexity that result from mature vineyards of low yields.
