Deep and concentrated ruby colour. Pleasing black fruit and mineral aromas with well integrated notes of spices from the barrel aging. Firm tannins and balanced acidity.
Mediterranean climate of Vidigueira, the most temperate sub-region of Alentejo, with an ideal microclimate for viticulture. Low-yield granitic and schist soils with high viticultural potential. Touriga Nacional trained under the LYS system (east-facing), and Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez in upward monoplane (west-facing), with east-west row orientation.
