QUINTA DE MATA-MOUROS

Quinta de Mata-Mouros is located on the left bank of the Arade River, opposite the beautiful and historic city of Silves. In its 120 hectares, the typical fruits of the region, such as figs, almonds, carob and loquats, have been cultivated for centuries. In January 2012, with the aim of exploring the viticultural potential of the estate, the "Convento do Paraiso" project began, a partnership between the Pereira Coutinho family (owner of Mata-Mouros) and the Soares family.
