Vidigal Wines is a company that produces still and liqueur wines, of medium size and family character, located in the Leiria area in Central Portugal. The company's origins date back to the beginning of the 20th century, in a farm founded by a Canon of the Church. Over the last century, the company has known a couple of owners until, in the early 1990s, the current Director, António Mendes Lopes – took over management. Since then, Vidigal has experienced major changes and technological advances that today allow it to produce around 3 million bottles per year.
