The 2022 vintage of Marias da Malhadinha Red is made from the Old Vines of Vale Travessos, planted in 1949. It has a deep ruby colour and a complex nose with notes of red and wild berries, along with a hint of vegetal and spicy notes from its ageing in high-quality oak barrels. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, with noticeable yet polished tannins. An elegant and very long finish; a Marias Red for the table and for the cellar.
