In the 2012 edition, Monte da Peceguina Red has a red color with violet hints. Notes of fresh red fruits and some floral stand out against a spicy and toasted background. Good presence in the mouth without being too heavy. Balance between fruit and wood in a fresh and complex set that demands some time in the bottle.
