Light violet, dense dark colour. In the nose, it has a noble and intense profile. Coffee notes, cane molasses, whipped cream, cedar, caruma and light cigar. In the test, it is full, very fresh, bulky and elegant. Great attack with long and fine tannins with a full end freshness alive. Notes also of drier black plum and barley.
MR Premium Touriga Nacional 2012 had a stage of 24 months in barrels, followed by another 24 months in bottle. It transmits a more complex and fresh profile, which will allow for a positive evolution over the next 20 years. Young, austere, and complex in profile, it shows a disruptive taste given the variety used, due to the uniqueness of its minerality and freshness.
