Clear appearance, ruby color. The aroma reveals intense notes of wild fruits and black plums complemented by sweet spices and a toasted finish due to aging in barrels. With a dense and balanced flavor, where black fruit predominates, enriched with light notes of jam. Attractive volume and long, persistent aftertaste.
From the detail and patient waiting, a new Monte Velho was born - Monte Velho Reserva. It all started with the careful selection of grapes, coming from various Alentejo regions, and the grape varieties that make them up: Aragonez, Trincadeira, Syrah and Touriga Nacional. Then, time. If Monte Velho is made slowly, Reserva was prolonged to be made even longer, with an aging phase in barrels for 8 months. Monte Velho Reserva thus has an elegant, balanced and complex profile.
