A medium-intensity red colour, ranging from blackberry to cherry, suggesting freshness with some depth. On the nose, the fruit follows the same theme, revealing a harmonious profile where red fruits are complemented by subtle woody notes that add complexity. On the palate, it stands out for its lively acidity and minerality, with pleasant notes of wild berries. The finish is intense, balanced, elegant and persistent, combining lightness with great complexity.
This wine is made from Touriga Nacional grapes and a field blend of grape varieties. Fermentation takes place in cement vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by an 18-month ageing period in cement vats and 600-litre barrels in cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, with optimum temperature and humidity conditions.
