The color is of a deep and intense grenade, in the aroma notes notes of enormous concentration, with perceptions of eucalyptus, mint, spice and black fruits. In the mouth, at an initial softness, intense freshness, extraordinary balance and elegance, a high concentration of tannins and an impressive persistence. All this ensures the qualitative difference of this wine and its enormous capacity for longevity.

At a temperature of 16-17ºC accompanying vigorous and intense dishes. It is also an excellent choice to accompany cured cheeses.

The Alicante Bouschet grapes from Vinha dos Carapetos, were harvested according to their optimum ripeness point in 20 kg boxes and immediately vinified. Without de-stemming, fermentation took place in presses with foot treading. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to barrels nº 3 and 4, in Portuguese oak, macacaúba and mahogany. The aging took place for 36 months in these barrels, and its evolution was regularly evaluated in tasting in order to confirm its bottling as Barrel Nº 3-4, which only happens in exceptional years. The stage in bottle started in September 2014.
