A balanced and elegant wine, supported by acidity and with some complexity. Fruity and floral elegance and subtlety mixes with earthy notes, heather, aromatic herbs and blueberries. The very well polished tannins and freshness are present throughout the tasting, finishing very long and with class.
Quinta do Poeira is situated in Provesende, along a slope in the Pinhão river valley. Its exposure to the North is a fundamental aspect for the style of wines that is sought to be made. Fresh, elegant and that reflect the personality of their vineyard of origin each year. This wine represents the realization of a dream and the beginning of the entire project. A wine sustained in acidity, full of character, faithful to the vineyard that gave rise to it and with the nuances of each vintage. A wine from the vine.
