Elegant ruby color, with an expressive varietal aroma, with floral notes and fresh fruit like blackberries. In the mouth it has enveloping and smooth tannins, with enormous elegance and precision.

It goes well with dishes with delicate flavors such as carpaccio, baked fish and low-fat meats.

Quinta do Cardo wines represent the identity of Beira Interior. The organic production method for Quinta do Cardo wines, a pioneer in Portugal, allows the preservation of native fauna and flora, promoting the biodiversity of our agricultural ecosystem, with a strong impact on the final quality of the wines produced here. In the 1930s, the first wine was produced at Quinta do Cardo, which was called Branco Maia. In 1986 the first white under the Quinta do Cardo brand was bottled and in 1988 the first red. The brand's fame skyrocketed and quickly became one of the great Portuguese wines, giving much prestige and strength to the then unknown Beira Interior.
