Deep ruby ??in color, on the nose it presents dense and fresh perfumes, very seductive, which reveals touches of orange blossom that mix with ripe black fruits. In the mouth, the aging in wood adds complexity to the whole, enhancing its floral and fresh character, as well as the succulence of tannins well matured over time. A wine that finishes long and persistent.

Located near Pinhão, on the right bank of the Douro, Quinta da Boavista has a spectacular view over the river. It is one of the most iconic properties in the demarcated region, known not only for its historical connection to the Baron of Forrester, but also for its 36 hectares of high quality vineyards. Every year, the oenology team decides to bottle one or two single varietal wines, from varieties that stood out that year. Similar to what happened in 2013, at the launch of the first wines from Quinta da Boavista, the choice fell on Touriga Nacional, which continues to assert itself as one of the noblest grape varieties in Portugal.
